Miroslav Mikeš (61), a prominent Banja Luka lawyer, passed away today at the University Hospital-Clinical Center Banja Luka, reports the Patria news agency.
Mikeš passed away today at 12:30, confirmed at the Clinical Center.
Mikeš had been in poor condition for several days and was admitted to the hospital on February 7.
Miroslav Mikeš was a member of the Senate of Republika Srpska, a deputy in the National Assembly, and served three terms as Vice-Chairman of the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska.
He served as an advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska.
