Founder of NGO Svjetlo and humanitarian Haris Čaušević has passed away

Today in Sarajevo, after a serious illness, the founder and director of NGO Altruista Svjetlo, Haris Čaušević, passed away. For the last 12 years of his life, Haris, together with the members of NGO Svjetlo, dedicated himself to helping people with disabilities through the mission of providing support and creating conditions for these individuals to express their own values, with the aim of removing barriers and prejudices that lead to discrimination and social exclusion.

NGO Altruista Svjetlo has so far been awarded many public recognitions for its noble work, including the Charter of the Historical Museum of BiH, the Silver Plaque of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, and the Plaque of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo.

Numerous members of NGO Altruista Svjetlo, together with the family of Haris Čaušević, will continue to implement activities in line with the mission and vision of this organization.
