
(Patria) - Mujo Hadžiomerović, Director of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, passed away in Sarajevo on July 15. He fell ill on July 11 in Srebrenica, but despite the efforts of doctors, Hadžiomerović passed away four days later.
The funeral prayer will be held on Monday, July 17, at 1:30 PM at the Rakita martyrs' cemetery in Vlasenica.
He was a mechanical engineering graduate by profession. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
He was the long-time head of the Bosniak Caucus in the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska. Hadžiomerović was originally from Vlasenica.
In September 2021, he was appointed to the Collegium of Directors of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH.
