Prominent SDP member Ivan Brigić passes away

Prominent member of SDP BiH and former parliamentary representative, Ivan Brigić, passed away tonight in Sarajevo at the age of 80, reports the Patria News Agency. 

During his rich political career, Brigić, among other things, served as a representative in the Assembly of SRBiH, representative and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, and was also a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH and a representative in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton. 

For many years, Brigić was at the top of the party and held significant positions, including that of a member of the Presidency and Vice-President of the Main Board of SDP. Information about the memorial service and the final farewell of Ivan Brigić will be announced later.
