(Patria) - Damir Ibrahimović, Bosnian producer and husband of director Jasmila Žbanić, passed away last night in Sarajevo.
Ibrahimović was the director of the production company Deblokada.
He was born on July 18, 1965, in Sarajevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo.
He held the position of director of the artists' association "Deblokada", and was a producer and director of various feature and short films.
Damir and Jasmila have a daughter, Zoe.
He produced a large number of films, the most famous being Grbavica and Quo Vadis, Aida?. The film Grbavica received the Golden Bear award at the Berlinale festival.
