Hajra Ćatić passed away, did not live to find the bones of her son Nino

(Patria) - Hajra Ćatić, president of the Association "Women of Srebrenica" and a mother who never managed to find a single bone of her son Nihad, passed away today in Sarajevo.

This information was confirmed by the Association "Movement of Mothers of the Enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa".

Ćatić had been admitted to the General Hospital for the past few days.

Otherwise, Ćatić had been searching for years to bury at least one bone of her son Nihad, who was a war journalist and known by the nickname Nino.

Unfortunately, her wish was not fulfilled, and she had previously stated in the media that she struggled with the lack of information about mass graves, which further complicated the process of finding the remains of her son.
