Prime Minister held a conference on the Paris massacre with tears in her eyes

Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg addressed the public today with tears in her eyes regarding, as she said, the "bloodbath" in Paris, reports the Patria news agency.

-We will not be frightened, we will stand by the French authorities. Darkness will not descend on the city of light, said a visibly shaken Solberg.

Asked how she reacted to the first news, the Prime Minister struggled not to burst into tears. 

-I feel deep sorrow. I got married in Paris, it is a city for which I and many Norwegians have deep feelings.

The Prime Minister announced that Norwegian authorities will, after yesterday's attacks, assess whether police officers should continue to perform their duties without carrying weapons.
