Film Premiere: Sarajevo Symbol of Civic Courage

Tonight at 6:30 PM, at the Meeting Point cinema in Sarajevo, on the occasion of March 1st - Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the premiere of the documentary film "Sarajevo Symbol of Civic Courage" will be held under the auspices of the City of Sarajevo, reports the Patria News Agency.

The production of this film was done by NGO "Gariwo" in 2014.

The 90-minute film will show the lives of Sarajevo citizens who, during the 1,425 days of their city's siege, under the most difficult circumstances, daily demonstrated civic courage and offered impressive resistance to various threats, with the aim of preserving the traditional spirit of multicultural coexistence in the city.

The screenwriter of this film is Svetlana Broz, and the directing is credited to Mirko Kurilić and Adnan Kapetanović.
