PM Uk and Minister Hota-Muminović shared the joy of Bajram with children without parental care

(Patria) - Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister Nihad Uk and Minister of Education and Science Naida Hota-Muminović visited today the Public Institution “Home for Children without Parental Care" on Bjelave where they spent time with the little ones and shared sweets with them.

Traditionally, every Bajram, the Prime Minister and ministers in the Government spend time with the children on Bjelave, or in one of the outreach departments operating within the Public Institution “Home for Children without Parental Care".

"Holidays are a time to be spent with family. Unfortunately, the wards of the Bjelave Home grow up without their loved ones, so it is always nice to share the joy of the holiday with them. The Government of Sarajevo Canton, as the founder of this institution, budgets for all its needs, and I am glad to hear that the process of deinstitutionalization regarding children without parental care is going well. This process is very important and we will continue to actively work on it in the future," said Prime Minister Uk.

Minister Hota-Muminović said that holidays serve to open doors to each other and share the joy of Bajram.

"As the department of education, we are actively involved in all issues concerning children placed in the Home on Bjelave. It is my pleasure that we often have the opportunity to visit the little ones from this home," said Minister Hota-Muminović.

Director of the Public Institution “Home for Children without Parental Care" Muhamed Musić thanked Prime Minister Uk, Minister Hota-Muminović, as well as all friends, volunteers and associations for helping, visiting and spending time with the children, thereby showing care for the most vulnerable categories of society.
