Tuzla Canton PM Bego Gutić Resigns

Tuzla Canton Prime Minister Bego Gutić resigned at an emergency session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, citing the impossibility of realizing programmatic goals. His resignation was accepted by the deputies of the Tuzla Canton Assembly with 18 votes "for", reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- From the very formation of the Tuzla Canton Government, a number of ministers did not meet the set goals, nor did they show readiness to implement the planned reforms - stated Bego Gutić.

Gutić states that outvoting at the sessions of the Tuzla Canton Government continuously slowed down the creation of a positive atmosphere.

However, behind the submitted resignation lies the aspiration of the SDA Cantonal Board to change the coalition partner, i.e., for Party of Democratic Action cadres to enter the government instead of Democratic Front cadres.
