Serbian Prime Minister calls to abandon the 'insane idea' of high-risk arrest of Dodik, Stevandić, and Višković

(Patria) - Serbia asks all three constituent peoples and two entities in BiH to resolve all open issues by consensus, i.e., mutual agreement, says the country's Prime Minister Miloš Vučević.

He believes that anything imposed, whether by one side or some international factor, does not bring good to the peoples living in these areas.

- If we don't understand this and if we allow some so-called do-gooders from the Western world to do all this to us, to make us quarrel and divide us, then we are showing great political immaturity - assesses Vučević.

- Serbia will remain with Republika Srpska and, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and international public law, will provide full assistance and do everything it can in this regard - he emphasized.

- I hope that reason will prevail and that no one will carry out actions that will endanger and open up the issue of the stability and security of BiH - said Vučević.

He also assessed that there is an "intensification of attacks on RS" and that it is being "attempted to decapitate it through judicial or quasi-judicial instances and fabricated processes to nullify the electoral will of the citizens of RS".

He added that in this way, they are also "moving towards nullifying the Dayton Peace Agreement, which is an achievement of some kind of stability and peace in BiH, but also in the entire region".

Vučević also said that he is concerned about "the fact that someone has insane ideas to carry out a high-risk operation to arrest the President of RS Milorad Dodik, the Prime Minister of RS Radovan Višković, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of RS Nenad Stevandić".

He assessed that this could lead to a terrible development of events and expressed hope that no one would even consider it.

- In any case, Serbia remains faithful and brotherly devoted to the people of RS, RS, and its legal and legitimate leadership, respecting BiH in accordance with the Dayton Agreement - added Vučević.
