(Patria) - Prime Minister Pivić and Chairman Huskić Congratulate the Police Day of Zenica-Doboj Canton Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić and Speaker of the Assembly Ćazim Huskić sent congratulations to all members of the Police Administration and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the occasion of May 15 – Police Day of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

"Police officers have one of the most responsible tasks in society, which is to protect the safety of citizens, their property, and public order and peace.

A professional, efficient, and well-equipped police force is a guarantee of stability and security for any society.

The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton is committed to continuing strong investment in the personnel and material strengthening of the police, improving working conditions, and modernizing the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Administration.

In the past period, significant investments have been made in new vehicles, equipment, uniforms, and other material and technical resources, with the aim of strengthening a modern, efficient, and professional police force in the service of citizens.

We are particularly proud of the fact that we are continuously working to improve the status of police officers, aware that only a satisfied, motivated, and respected police officer can perform their job professionally and responsibly.

On Police Day, we pay special tribute to all police officers who gave their lives in the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to those who were killed while performing this honorable and responsible duty. Their sacrifice permanently obliges us to continue building a safe, stable, and just society.
