Prime Minister Pivić and Speaker Huskić Congratulate the 33rd Anniversary of the Formation of the Third Corps of the Army of RBiH

(Patria) - Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić and Speaker of the Assembly Ćazim Huskić congratulated the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Third Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, war veterans, officers and soldiers of the Third Corps, as well as all patriots who hold the Third Corps in their hearts.

They state that the first half of the nineties was certainly one of the most difficult periods in the history of BiH and its people, but also an extremely important period in military history, as for the first time in centuries we had our own army. That is why December 1, 1992, is an extremely important date, because on this day, 33 years ago, the Third Corps of the Army of the Republic of BiH was formed, with its headquarters in Zenica, based on the decision of the Supreme Command Staff of the Army of BiH. The Third Corps was a strong obstacle to the aggressor's goals, and its members showed their bravery and devotion to their homeland on the defense lines across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They paid special tribute to the martyrs and fallen soldiers who gave their lives in an honorable fight for the highest civilizational values, independence, and freedom.

- It is important that we preserve the memory of the defensive-liberation war and commemorate significant dates, such as December 1st, and it is especially important that we take care of the veteran population. The position of veterans and their families is one of the most important priorities of the institutions of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, which we demonstrate through continuous support, concrete measures and programs for all veteran categories, and the constant increase in funds allocated to the veteran population - stated the congratulatory message from Prime Minister Pivić and Speaker Huskić on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Third Corps of the Army of BiH.
