Prime Minister Pivić and members of the ZDK Government visited the JU Home-Family in Zenica

(Patria) - Members of the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), led by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, visited the Public Institution (JU) Home-Family in Zenica today and distributed New Year's packages to the beneficiaries - children without parental care.



The children expressed their gratitude with a special program, gifting the Prime Minister and ministers hearts symbolizing friendship and unity.

- It is an immense honor for us, in the second year of my mandate as director of the institution, to host members of the Government. Children come from all over the canton, and the importance of the visit is reflected in empowering the young people we work with from their childhood to independence.

They see that the Prime Minister is here, that the ministers are present, and that the Government provides support in their education and independence - stated the director of JU Home-Family Zenica, Halil Arnaut.



Prime Minister Pivić and the ministers enjoyed the performance and saw the effort of the children participating in the drama, folklore, and literary sections, as well as the dedicated work of the institution's employees.

Currently, there are 81 beneficiaries staying at JU Home-Family Zenica, including 12 children aged up to two and a half years.

- We are especially proud that we enable various companies, organizations, and individuals to visit us, and also for our beneficiaries to visit them. This is the best way for socialization and inclusion of children into society.

An example is the cooperation with the company RM-LH Zenica, where two of our beneficiaries are gaining work experience, living independently, and helping their siblings in the institution.

We are also proud of the student beneficiaries who are continuing their education, including a young woman in her second year of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Zenica - Arnaut added.



ZDK Prime Minister Nezir Pivić emphasized that children are always the focus.

- Children are our future. No child should grow up alone. We are available for everything they need, within legal possibilities.



We were especially delighted with the gathering and the program, as the children showed love and joy - said Prime Minister Pivić.
