Prime Minister of Pakistan at the Presidency of BiH: Improve Relations Between the Two Countries

Members of the Presidency of BiH received today a visit from the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif. It was jointly assessed that the political relations between BiH and Pakistan are very good and it is in the interest of both sides to improve cooperation in all areas. Particular interest was expressed in improving political and economic cooperation, as well as in the areas of trade exchange and joint investments, the Presidency of BiH announced, as reported by Patria.

Opinions were exchanged on the need for a more significant presence of Pakistani investors and companies in BiH, and interest was also expressed in other forms of cooperation with Pakistan, especially in the areas of energy, agriculture, textiles and the wood industry.

The interlocutors discussed the political and economic situation and circumstances in both countries, and members of the Presidency of BiH informed the Prime Minister about the upcoming activities on BiH's path to European integration. The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed full support for Bosnia and Herzegovina on that path. The importance of exchange of visits at all levels was emphasized.

Members of the Presidency of BiH expressed gratitude for the overall support and assistance of the people and Government of Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
