Prime Minister Nikšić and Minister Mijatović held talks with representatives of the "Logistika BiH" Consortium

(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić and Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović held a meeting today at the seat of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo with representatives of carriers from the "Logistika BiH" Consortium.

Representatives of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, and the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs also attended the meeting. The topic of discussion was the current demands of carriers in the international transport sector, who, on this occasion, highlighted three, as they emphasized, key issues concerning the competencies of the Government of the Federation of BiH. The Coordinator of the "Logistika BiH" Consortium, Velibor Peulić, in this regard, presented the need to adopt regulations on excise duty refund, then to introduce a common tag for more favorable use of highway networks through BiH, and to realize rights to incentives, such as those for the procurement of ecological vehicles, through obtaining the status of export-oriented companies.

Prime Minister Nikšić emphasized that the Government of the Federation of BiH is open to any constructive dialogue, and that this meeting was planned in advance. He reminded that the Government of the Federation of BiH increased allocations for small businesses from seven to 26 million KM, and stressed the Government's commitment to continuing to improve business conditions and overall economic development.

In this context, he emphasized the readiness of the Government of the Federation of BiH, within its competencies, to support initiatives that will contribute to improving business conditions and the competitiveness of transport companies.

It was agreed at the meeting that the representatives of the "Logistika BiH" Consortium will submit the necessary initiatives and documents to the Government so that, through the analysis of good practices and experiences from the region, all possibilities for finding appropriate solutions can be considered.

It was also stated that a meeting was previously held between the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications, Andrijana Katić, and the representatives of the Consortium, and it was emphasized that this line ministry is also considering possible solutions in this area, in accordance with the competencies of the Government of the Federation of BiH.
