Prime Minister Forto: HDZ blocks FBiH, and SDA Sarajevo

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Regarding the appeal for the assessment of the constitutionality of the Draft Budget of Sarajevo Canton, Prime Minister of SC Edin Forto sent a press release stating that the appeal by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić to the Constitutional Court at the request of the SDA caucus in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly could lead to the suspension of budget execution and endanger all budget users, including the University of Sarajevo, which has been operating on a treasury basis since this year.

- Just as they blocked the budget at the Federation of BiH level with the HDZ, thus endangering the lives of the most vulnerable categories, including pensioners, the SDA is now trying to do it alone at the Sarajevo Canton level. Primarily because of the University, we insisted that the budget be adopted by the end of January. Despite their move, we plan to adopt the budget at tomorrow's session of the Canton Assembly, with its rebalancing in the spring.

I am not afraid of what they are doing. This is another situation that shows how patriotic everyone is. With such moves, both in the Canton and at the Federation level, they are not - said Forto.
