Sarajevo-osiguranje retained its leading position in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the first eight months of 2017, according to data from the Insurance Supervision Agency in the Federation published on the Agency's official website, Patria reports.
From January 1 to August 30, 2017, Sarajevo-osiguranje achieved a total premium of 38,570,709 KM. UNIQA osiguranje held the second position with 38,135,047 KM, while Euroherc remained in third place with 37,856,931 KM in earned premium.
BSO moved from fifth to fourth place with 33,907,049 KM in premium, while Croatia osiguranje dropped from fourth to fifth position with 33,507,108 KM in premium in the first eight months of 2017.
The total premium for life and non-life insurance of 13 insurance companies in the Federation from January to August amounted to 322,828,749 KM, with an additional 26,417,920 KM in premium achieved by seven insurance companies from the RS operating in the Federation, Patria reports.
