(Patria) - The BiH Council of Ministers today made a decision on the distribution of international aid funds for areas of BiH affected by floods.
Professor Vahidin Preljević of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo spoke about how this distribution was carried out, as well as the current political situation, on the show "Good day, BiH" on Hayat television.
- Today I really tried to find out more, but as far as I know so far, there was no additional explanation from which the reasons for not allocating funds solely to local communities affected by the floods could be seen.
Perhaps it could be about some projects that require them to be managed from those instances, but that is just a hypothesis. I think the Council of Ministers should certainly provide an explanation as to why it distributed the funds in this way.
It is interesting that, by coincidence, today, after a long time, the Council of Ministers came out with some positive news, which includes, for example, the NATO reform program for 2023, and then at the end of 2024, it forwarded it to NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Let's say they produced some news that is not so negative, and we can now state that as some kind of success - says Preljević.
He assesses that it is certain that the federal level is in increasing difficulty, and he does not say this as an expert, but observes it with common sense and states - "if the previous administration left a surplus of several hundred million, and you end up with a deficit of several hundred million in two years, and you continue to borrow, then it indicates that you are treating our money very uneconomically".
- I even have the feeling that those who participate in that government no longer believe in that government and in the prime minister, and that is the first sign of serious decadence. When we talk about the Government of Sarajevo Canton, I think it is even more dramatic and more visible.
Let's just recall things that are in my domain - from the problems of the National and University Library, and then the University, and even the example of air pollution.
They behave according to the example - the left doesn't know what the right is doing - explains Preljević the problems in the functioning of the executive government at all levels.
