LAW AND REGULATION VIOLATED, FBiH GOVERNMENT MOVES TO REPLACE SUPERVISORY BOARD OF ŽELJEZNICE FBiH

(Patria) - Due to violations of the Law, Statute, and Regulation, the Prime Minister of the Federation, Fadil Novalić, has asked the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Federation, Denis Lasić, to prepare a decision for Thursday's session on the dismissal of the Supervisory Board of Željeznice FBiH.

We remind you that the Supervisory Board of Željeznice FBiH decided not to act on the earlier consent of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the appointment of the general director of that public company. The Government proposed the appointment of Enis Džafić (SDA), and the Supervisory Board, instead of the proposed Džafić, appointed Rešad Mandžo, an associate of Denis Zvizdić, as the director of "Željeznice FBiH".
At the SDA Cadre Commission, both Zvizdić and Adil Osmanović supported Mandžo's appointment. They did not even review Džafić's performance.

The Supervisory Board justified this move with the following explanation:

"Upon making the decision to announce the competition and appoint the general director, the Supervisory Board appointed a commission composed of experts whose knowledge covers a wide range of fields, all with the aim of a quality selection of candidates who applied for the requested position," it is stated, among other things.
