Over 100,000 KM for New Sewage Network in Širokača

In Komatin Street, the busiest street in Širokača, construction of a new separate sewage network, 230 meters in length, has begun. The problem for residents of this street, where sewage pipes are very worn and cracked, and the asphalt has "sunk" after several years, will be permanently resolved, and new connections will be provided for about 50 households.

Work began on Monday and is being carried out on the section from the premises of the Širokača local community to Sutorinska Street. As we were told by the local community, traffic in Komatin Street has been suspended due to the works, and residents are using detours: through Hambina carina-Lipe-Bostarići street, or from the Toka-Džeka local community through Berkuša mala street.

The works are being carried out by workers from the company “Harysco” d.o.o., and asphalt cutting and excavations are currently underway. The complete replacement of the fecal and storm sewage system will be carried out, along with the installation of street catch basins for drainage. The deadline for completion of the works is 30 calendar days. This project is financed by the Stari Grad Municipality in the amount of over 100,000 KM.
