Session of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH adjourned: Resumption on Wednesday, Pelješac Bridge heats up Parliament

The Chairperson of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH, Borjana Krišto, adjourned the session of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH, and the session will resume on Wednesday, September 13, writes Patria.

Krišto informed the parliamentarians that the session would last until 6 PM due to the obligations of the Collegium members.

The session was adjourned at the moment when a heated debate was underway regarding the Report on activities related to the construction of the Pelješac Bridge and the Report on activities on the implementation of the project for the construction of the interstate bridge over the Sava River near Svilaj and the connecting border sections of the highway on Corridor Vc.

The debate became so heated, and the proposed declaration by 24 MPs was interpreted by some as a decision on whether they were for or against BiH.

Mirsad Đonlagić emphasized that one should be aware that the BiH Parliament would not be discussing this topic if it were not for Hanka Vajzović's initiative.

- I cannot believe that we will reach a solution that is worthy of this honorable house. We are discussing whether Matanović did this, Jusko that. This is a politicized debate. We have an interest in maintaining good relations with Croatia, but above all, in preserving the interests of BiH – said Đonlagić.
