Session of the FBiH House of Peoples interrupted, no support for agenda due to Draft Law concerning persons with disabilities

(Patria) - Today's session of the FBiH House of Peoples did not receive support from delegates, thus ending before it officially began.

Namely, only 12 delegates voted for the proposed agenda, and it is assumed that these were mostly votes from the Croat Club.

According to Patria's information, the problematic item was Agenda Point 3, the Draft Law on Uniform Principles and Framework for Material Support for Persons with Disabilities in the FBiH.

Earlier, at a session of the Bosniak Club, which was attended by associations of persons affected by the law, it was decided that the Club would not support the law.

Ultimately, with the unsuccessful vote on the agenda, the session was interrupted.

After the session, representatives of associations of persons with disabilities held an informal meeting with the relevant minister, Adnan Delić, and conveyed to him the idea that it would be best to hold a thematic session on this issue.
