Fifth regular session of the FBiH House of Representatives adjourned, to continue on October 8

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The fifth regular session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament has been adjourned. 

Before the break, the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament supported the Draft Law on Catering.

In the continuation, among other things, during the discussion on the Draft Law on Organizations and Representative Organizations of Persons with Disabilities and Civilian Victims of War, the delegates criticized the role of the state at all levels, which influences and interferes in the work of the aforementioned organizations. 

“Forwarding such a law to public debate could cause problems at all levels,” said Amela Kuskunović, proposing that the draft law be returned to the proposer for revision. 

According to her, parliamentarians should ensure an active role for persons with disabilities in society. 

However, this draft still received support.

During the discussion on the Draft Law on Real Estate Brokerage, delegate Albin Muslić proposed not to use the definition of real estate from earlier regulations. 

“I believe it would be necessary to correct the article on insurance for damages caused by the broker. In the current law on notaries, it is stated that each notary is liable for damages up to 200,000 KM. This draft provides for a sum of 50,000 KM for compensation,” Muslić stated. 

Samer Rešidat also commented on similar issues in the proposed law. 

The Draft Law on Real Estate Brokerage received support from 69 delegates, with three votes against. 

The same happened with the Draft Law on Amendments to Fiscal Systems, and the Draft Law on Debt, Borrowing, and Guarantees in the FBiH.

The heads of clubs and the leadership of the House decided to adjourn today's session, with the continuation announced for October 8.

Additionally, an extraordinary session of this House was announced for the same day, where a set of laws proposed by the FBiH Employers' Association will be considered.
