Strike of "Holiday" hotel workers called off, director on sick leave

The "Holiday" hotel in Sarajevo resumed full operations in mid-May, and employees have called off their strike.

As the BH News Agency Patria has learned, workers are now literally fighting for their jobs, as a new pre-bankruptcy manager has allegedly arrived.

We remind you that the employees of the "Holiday" hotel had been without salaries for months, and their electricity had been cut off. The long-time director of the hotel, Senadin Fetahagić, has been on sick leave for more than two weeks.

Incidentally, on May 15, scenes for the film "Don't Ask Why" by Italian director Enzo Monteleone were filmed in front of the hotel, based on the book of the same name by Francois Di Maria, which tells the story of a journalist in wartime Sarajevo in 1992. For this occasion, a war scene was set up in front of the hotel, featuring sandbags as barricades, burnt-out cars, and UN transporters, writes Patria.
