Company Park Awarded Maintenance of Public Lighting in All Municipalities in KS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The company Park will, in the coming period, perform maintenance of public lighting and repair of faults in the entire Sarajevo Canton, the KS Government decided.

It is known that this company has had a unit for maintenance and repair of faults in public lighting in KS since September 2015.

Last year, Park, in accordance with the Government's decision, performed these tasks in the municipalities of Centar, Novo Sarajevo, and Novi Grad, and from 2015 to 2018, periodically either in the entire Canton or in individual municipalities.

From now on, it will again do so in nine municipalities, until the Ministry of Communal Economy and Infrastructure of KS, which is responsible for this area, completes the public procurement procedure and selects contractors for 2020.

Citizens cannot report street lighting faults to the company Park as the contractor; they can only do so through the KS Public Lighting Monitoring and Management Center.

The Center has on-call phone numbers for such problems on Sarajevo streets, and by calling 033/564-444 or 034/562-242, faults are recorded and sent for repair.

Based on the reports received by the Center, the relevant ministry issues a work order to the company Park, based on which Park's unit goes to the site and performs the repair. In emergency situations, repair orders are also issued through police administrations and Elektroprivreda BiH. This procedure is also valid this year, and Park's team will perform repairs on public lighting in Stari Grad, Ilidža, Hadžići, Trnovo, Vogošća, and Ilijaš, in addition to Centar, Novo Sarajevo, and Novi Grad, at least in the first few months.
