(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) is to discuss the principles (first reading) of the Bill on State Property at today's session, proposed by representatives Jasmin Emrić, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Aida Baručija, and Elvis Hodžić.
At the previous session, the proposers' request to consider this law under an urgent or expedited procedure was not adopted, so it will be discussed in the regular procedure.
In the explanation, the proposers state that it was necessary to prepare a law that would regulate the issue of state property in a "comprehensive manner", including its scope, ownership, disposal, and allocation for use by BiH institutions and other levels of government, to the extent necessary for the performance of their constitutional and legal responsibilities.
The Bill on Amendments to the Law on Police Officers of BiH, proposed by Nihad Omerović, Jasmin Imamović, and Predrag Kojović, with a request for an urgent procedure, will also be considered by the representatives. This proposal has faced a number of criticisms, especially from police officers' unions, so it is expected that the proposal will be rejected.
The principles of the Bill on Amendments to the Law on SIPA, proposed by Jasmin Emrić, will also be considered.
The agenda also includes the Collegium Committee's Report on reaching an agreement on the conclusions of the Transport and Communications Committee regarding the operations of BHRT, as well as several parliamentary initiatives.
Chairman of the SDA Caucus, Šerif Špago, stated yesterday that the Proposal for Amendments to the Election Law of BiH, submitted by SDA representatives with the aim of introducing new election technologies into the electoral process, might also be on today's agenda.
