
(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, P.Z.E.I. proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH. 24 representatives voted for, three against, and eight abstained. The proposal for the House of Peoples of BiH to consider this Law under an urgent procedure was also passed with 25 votes in favour.
The Report of the Collegium Commission on efforts to reach an agreement on the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, P.Z.E.I, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH (shortened procedure) was also adopted with 32 votes in favour.
An amendment by representative Albin Muslić to the Law on the HJPC, which will enable greater transparency in the work of the HJPC, was also adopted.
The Bill on Freedom of Access to Information at the level of BiH institutions was also adopted, with previously adopted amendments.
