House of Representatives Passes Law on Electoral Units and Mandate Distribution of the FBiH Parliament

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the second extraordinary session today, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed the Draft Law on Electoral Units and the Number of Mandates of the FBiH Parliament. The Draft Law was passed unanimously with 65 votes "for". Representatives of the HDZ BiH-HNS Club did not attend the session. They announced that they would comment on this law and further steps only after the session of the Croatian National Assembly.

The Law on Electoral Units and the Number of Mandates of the FBiH Parliament was proposed under an urgent procedure by the parliamentary clubs of the Party of Democratic Action, the Alliance for Better Future of BiH, the Democratic Front, the Social Democratic Party of BiH, and the delegate of Our Party in the House of Peoples, Predrag Kojović.

The FBiH Government supported this Law today, which will also be on the agenda of the House of Peoples, although it has not yet been convened, which is expected very soon.
