House of Representatives of FBiH: Session continued, heated debate expected on the situation in mines

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The fourth regular session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, which began on Tuesday, continued in Sarajevo. 

After the proposal of the presiding officer Mirsad Zaimović to vote on all items after the conclusion of the discussion was adopted, the representatives exhausted 14 agenda items, and the first in the continuation is the Report on the work and financial-material operations of the Federal Agency for the Management of Confiscated Property in the period from July 1 to December 31, 2018. 

Among other things, a heated debate is expected today on the situation in the mines that are part of the JP Elektroprivreda BiH Concern. 

Some representatives have learned that miners might appear in front of the Parliament building during the day. 

Kenan Kapo, director of the Federal Agency for the Management of Confiscated Property, submitted the report. As he said, the Agency has so far managed property worth 15 million KM, and it most often consists of confiscated real estate, companies, cars, and money. 

Representative Irfan Čengić said that the Agency for the Management of Confiscated Property is the only one that has come to life from the set of anti-corruption laws adopted by the FBiH Parliament in 2014. 

After several exchanges between Čengić and representative Sanela Prašović Gadžo, the discussion concluded. 

Gadžo claimed that the Agency has not done what its essence is. She also added that she would like someone from the Government to answer why a second director has not been appointed, given that the current one was appointed in March 2015.
