House of Representatives of FBiH: HDZ and opposition reject reports on RTV FBiH operations

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The representatives discussed and debated the reports on the work and operations of RTV FBiH from 2014 to 2017.

HDZ representatives did not miss the opportunity for a new “attack” on FTV.

Thus, they accused them of sowing hatred among peoples, hatred towards the Croatian people, the absence of Croatian representatives in FTV programming, and similar issues.

Representative Ivica Pavković (HDZ) accused FTV of “frightening spins in certain shows and a lack of optimism in the programs.”

Asim Kamber (SDA) pointed out that none of the four auditing firms gave positive assessments of the reports.

The reports on the work and operations of RTV FBiH for 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 did not receive support from the representatives of the House of Representatives of FBiH.

After the president of the SDA Club requested individual voting, representatives of HDZ, SDP, Our Party, People and Justice were against or abstained, so the report for 2017 again failed to gain support.

Thus, it can be concluded that HDZ and opposition parties rejected the reports.

At the end of the 10th regular session, representatives voted on amendments to the Proposal of the Law on the Rate of Default Interest. The Government of FBiH did not accept the amendments.

The Proposal of the Law on the Rate of Default Interest ultimately received support from the representatives, concluding the 10th regular session.

After the regular session, the 7th extraordinary session was immediately held on amendments to the Law on Profit Tax.

The extraordinary session ended in record time, and representatives supported the amendments to the Law on Profit Tax under an urgent procedure and without amendments.

A representative of the relevant ministry in the Government of FBiH explained that these amendments are necessary for businesses due to the final account and that the amendments to this legal solution had to be completed by February 28.
