HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF FBiH: DF Rejected SDA's Proposal, Supported SDP's

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The 14th regular session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH has begun in Sarajevo.

The session was already interrupted by a break at the beginning, due to proposals to amend the agenda by SDP representatives Damir Mašić and SDA representative Salko Zildžić. Zildžić had objections to the procedures followed in preparing the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Fiscal Systems, and the Minister of Finance of FBiH, Jelka Milićević, responded by stating that the Government of FBiH unanimously adopted this law, that it was prepared and equipped in accordance with the procedure, and that she saw no reason why it should not be on the agenda today.

Zildžić's proposal was not supported, and interestingly, the representatives of the Democratic Front, a coalition partner of SDA, abstained.

Mašić proposed that the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Additions to Mitigate the Negative Economic Consequences Caused by the Coronavirus, under an urgent procedure, be included in the agenda.
On the proposed agenda are several legal solutions, under an urgent procedure: the Report on the Execution of the FBiH Budget for 2019, the Annual Report on the Operations of the Public Enterprise "Railways of the Federation of BiH" for the years 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Mašić's proposal was also not supported.

The agenda includes the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Securities Commission (urgent procedure), the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on the Protection of Financial Services Users – urgent procedure, the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Internal Payment Transactions – urgent procedure, the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Collection and Partial Write-off of Debts to Sports Collectives, proposers: clubs of representatives of SDA, HDZ BiH-HNS, DF, and SBB – urgent procedure.

Representatives are also expected to consider the Proposal for the Law on the Register of Financial Reports, the Proposal for the Law on Accounting and Auditing, the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Fiscal Systems, the Draft Regulatory Plan of the Historical Urban Area of Blagaj for the period of ten years from the date of adoption, the Report on the Work of FERK for 2019.
