Political party representatives meet with Wigemark: Continuation of talks on the Election Law

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A meeting on amendments to the Election Law is being held today at the residence of the European Union Special Representative Lars Gunnar Wigemark, in the context of the upcoming General Elections in October 2018.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the parliamentary parties DF, SBB, SDA, SDP BiH, HDZ BiH...

The joint meeting comes after a series of bilateral meetings between representatives of the EU Delegation to BiH and the US Embassy with representatives of SDA, HDZ, SBB, DF, and SDP, which in the meantime announced its withdrawal from these talks but will attend today's meeting.

The agenda will include all open issues, from the elections in Mostar to the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH on the appeal of Božo Ljubić, and the filling of the House of Peoples in the Federal Parliament.

The position of all parties and representatives of the international community is that only a solution that enjoys mutual agreement, i.e., a compromise, is acceptable.
