NES Candidates for Novi Grad Municipal Council Presented: Give a Chance to Those Who Will Not Sell Themselves for a Little Power!

(Patria) - The central gathering of the Municipal Organization of NES Novi Grad was held last night in the full cinema hall of this Sarajevo municipality. At the gathering, the NES candidates for the Novi Grad Municipal Council were presented. The gathering was attended by the President of the Main Board of NES and a representative in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirza Batalović, member of the Presidency of NES and commissioner for Sarajevo Canton Enver Išerić, then Dr. Zlatko Kravić, President of NES Novi Grad and the list holder for the Municipal Council Haris Rustemović, and many other distinguished guests.

A message was sent from the gathering to the citizens to go to the polls and give a chance to those they know will not betray them, because they have already proven what kind of politics they pursue and who will not sell themselves for a little power.

-The local elections are an opportunity to give your vote to a candidate you trust to carry your voice, who will act together with you in a manner worthy of a human being, in the service of the neighborhood and the community – it was stated at the gathering.

Rustemović, among other things, said that "based on universal human values, order has been made on Earth since the beginning of humanity, and it has remained so to this day, although in the meantime social systems and ways of managing communities have changed, driven by technological progress, but human values have always been present as a lever for the functioning of society, including our local community."

-That is precisely what we want to base our work on, to once again be good neighbors, to protect our public good, to advocate for honest people in politics, prosperity and progress that we will leave to future generations.

We highlight the vision of serious, transparent action in the service of citizens by the elected councilors of NES Novi Grad. The same vision applies to the establishment, maintenance, strengthening and continuous maintenance of the efficiency of the work of both the councilor himself and the members of the local community councils in the municipality, which are not at the service of our fellow citizens in terms of active communication, the needs of the local population, solving problems and satisfying the interests and needs of residents of different age groups - said Rustemović and called on the citizens of the Novi Grad municipality to support the current mayor Semir Efendić, because he "has proven dedicated work for the citizens and that he is in the service of the citizens, which NES has promoted since its founding."

In his address, Batalović spoke about how important it is that NES did not agree to the suspension of the Constitution and did not give up seats for the greater good, and stated that loyalty has no price.

Kravić said that he is pleased by the fact that he sees great potential in the people who make up the NES list, because they are accomplished, principled people who contribute even outside of politics, work and build in their local communities, without compensation, and stated that a vote for NES is a vote for a neighbor.

Dr. Išerić reminded that NES has submitted two very important laws to the procedure concerning benefits for mothers with four or more children and a draft law on pension and disability insurance seeking an increase in the minimum pension by 22 percent. Thus, the minimum pension would amount to 700 KM.
