Presidency Adopts Report on Execution of BiH Institutions' Budget and International Obligations for 2024

(Patria) - The 24th regular session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo today.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision on concluding a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing political consultations on issues of mutual interest between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Report on the Execution of the Budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina Institutions and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024, and it will be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on accepting agreements and appointing signatories:

- Grant Agreement - Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) - Safe and Sustainable Transport (SSTP) Program - (Sustainable, Integrated and Safe Road Infrastructure Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development/International Development Association acting as the lead financial institution for WBIF-SSTP;

- Loan Agreement (Just Transition Project in Selected Coal-Rich Regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision on appointing the Head of the Staff Group of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Annual Report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on ratification:

- Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the governments of other members of the South-East European Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative on Host Country Arrangements for the Secretariat of the South-East European Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative;

- Financing Agreement for the Cooperation Programme “Interreg VI – C) URBACT IV” for the period 2021-2027 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the French Republic, represented by the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT);

- Agreement between the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of National Defence of Romania on Defence Cooperation;

- Agreement on the Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies (CEEPUS IV);

- Financing Agreement for the Interreg VI-B EURO MEDITERRANEAN Programme (EURO MED) for the period 2021-2027 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the French Republic, represented by the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur;

- International Olive Oil and Table Olives Agreement of 2015;

- International Agreement between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Justice 2021-2027 Programme;

- Grant Agreement No. TF0C4164 (Project for Strengthening Public Enterprise Oversight in Bosnia and Herzegovina) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association (as administrator of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Financial Management);

- Grant Agreement (Pale District Heating Project) concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, relating to an investment grant from the High Impact Partnership on Climate Action Special Fund;

- Loan Agreement (Pale District Heating Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

- Amendment No. 1 to the Financing Agreement (Water Supply and Sewerage in Republika Srpska II), concluded by and between Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Borrower), Republika Srpska (the Promoter), and the European Investment Bank (the Bank), on December 17, 2019, in Sarajevo and on December 20, 2019, in Banja Luka (Financing Agreement) - Serapis N: 2018-0281; FI N: 90.345;

- Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union on cooperation between the competent authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina for judicial cooperation in criminal matters and the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST);

- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of Montenegro, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on Host Country Arrangements regarding the status of the Permanent Organization of Balkan Medical Forces and its personnel;

- Amended and renewed agreement to the Loan Agreement of the original date of September 12, 2018 (Corridor Vc Project – Section 3) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

- Grant Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank, “Mediterranean Corridor: Medakovo-Ozimice section of Corridor Vc Motorway in Bosnia and Herzegovina”/ Grant from the European Western Balkans Joint Fund / WB-IG06-BiH-TRA-04, Contract Number (FI N°.): 98576, Operation Number (Serapis No.): 2019-0751;

- Protocol between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Romania on the succession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to bilateral agreements concluded between the Federative People's Republic of Yugoslavia/Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia and the People's Republic of Romania/Socialist Republic of Romania/Romania at the state and government level;

- Framework Loan Agreement between the Council of Europe Development Bank and Bosnia and Herzegovina for Psychiatric Clinics in Bosnia and Herzegovina LD 2002 (2019);

- Amendment No. 1 to the Grant Agreement of October 26, 2020, regarding the investment grant from the European Western Balkans Joint Fund for the “Gradačac Water Supply Project” between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

- Amendment No. 1 to the Financing Agreement concluded by and between Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Borrower) and the European Investment Bank (the Bank) on April 26, 2018 (Financing Agreement) – Corridor Vc Mostar Jug, Operation Number (Serapis N°): 2015-0773; Contract Number (FI N°): 87.195;

- Amendment No. 1 to the Financing Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Borrower) and the European Investment Bank (the Bank) on April 26, 2018 (Financing Agreement) – Corridor Vc Zenica-North, Operation Number (Serapis N°): 2015-0774; Contract Number (FI N°): 86.971;

- Agreement on Access to Higher Education and Admission to Studies in the Western Balkans.
