SDP BiH Presidency: Only a united civic bloc can stop the bloc of state wreckers

The Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed the SDP's commitment to forming a united civic bloc, which represents the only serious alternative to nationalist parties and their coordinated activities aimed at dismantling Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The dismantling of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the stripping of state powers through the „European“ coordination mechanism signed in a cafe, and the prevention of establishing judicial bodies to investigate and punish corruption and crime are just a small part of the numerous activities of the ruling majority at all levels, proving that for them a functional state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a threat, not a goal.

The adoption of the budget for the City of Mostar, which for years has been cobbled together by two men for the interests of the HDZ BiH and SDA, instead of finding a lawful systemic solution, is the latest proof of the synchronized dismantling of state institutions, including the fundamental democratic institute of the right to elections.

The Presidency of the SDP BiH condemned the actions of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ruling majority at the federal level, which persistently obstructs and prevents the implementation of the Law on the Suppression of Corruption and Crime, making it clear that the current authorities are only satisfied with blocking the establishment of effective legal mechanisms for sanctioning systemic corruption and the plundering of the state.
