SDA Presidency: Drug cartel has collaborators in currently ruling political and police structures

(Patria) - The SDA Presidency held a session today where several conclusions on the current political situation were adopted.

The SDA Presidency decisively rejects the intention of the RS entity authorities to open a discussion on the so-called "agreement on the separation of the RS and FBiH entities".

"This initiative and the attempt to realize it represent a gross violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and a criminal offense prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The statements of the Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić that he will "respond when he receives and analyzes it" are worrying. If the RS entity authorities submit such a proposal, we demand that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, instead of receiving, processing, or responding to it, immediately forward it to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further proceedings", it is stated.

We call on the High Representative, the signatory states of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the member states of the Peace Implementation Council to prevent this attempt to further undermine the Dayton Agreement in accordance with their powers and obligations, and to sanction the initiators and implementers of this attack on the territorial integrity and constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Other conclusions:

The SDA Presidency welcomes the decision of the United Nations General Assembly to adopt the Resolution declaring July 11th as the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica.

The SDA Legal Counsel will analyze the possibilities of changing the status of Srebrenica and amending the regulations governing elections in this municipality.

We call on the Serb people not to follow the disastrous policies of the political leadership that impose collective guilt for genocide on them and lead them into new crises, blockades, and conflicts.

The SDA Presidency considers the announcement by the leadership of the RS entity to change the name of Srebrenica as a continuation of the genocidal policy. This insane announcement surpasses all previous methods of genocide denial. After the murders of the people of Srebrenica, an attempt is now being made to kill the name of Srebrenica, with which Milorad Dodik's regime continues the genocidal project led by war criminals Karadžić and Mladić.

The change of the name of Srebrenica must not be allowed at any cost. The Peace Implementation Council (PIC) and the OHR must react decisively and finally stop the leaders of the fascist policy.

The SDA Presidency instructs the authorized proposers to continue activities on the legal challenge of the election of Marin Vukoja as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, given that the entire process of electing the HDZ candidate without any experience in the judiciary was carried out through brutal legal-political violence, violating the Constitution, the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the foreseen procedures.

The "Trojka" parties are showing day by day that the interests of the HDZ are above the interests of the state. Through concessions and the handover of important sectors, the latest being the delivery of control over the Energy Regulatory Commission (FERK) to the HDZ, they have caused temporary damage to the state. However, with the concession that leads to the weakening of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they have crossed the red line and caused permanent and dangerous damage to the interests of the state.

The SDA Presidency condemns the attempt by the BiH Prosecutor's Office to create an artificial balance even in cases of "incitement to national, racial, and religious hatred". The Prosecutor's Office has an obligation to prosecute genocide denial and the actual incitement of national and religious hatred, which politicians from the RS entity do daily.

Instead, by initiating proceedings against President Bakir Izetbegović, Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center Emir Suljagić, and analyst Reuf Bajrović, based on a two-year-old report, they are trying to silence those who oppose anti-state policies.

Members of the SDA Presidency stand by every word spoken by President Izetbegović, as none of them have ever been directed against other peoples and religions.

Protecting the interests of the state, calls for caution to the Bosniak people who survived genocide, as well as calls for strengthening the defense capabilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the Constitution and laws – which President Izetbegović has also done in his public appearances – are our obligation, which we will continue to fulfill.

The SDA Presidency demands the dismissal of all actors who enabled the drug cartel to establish contact with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and donate equipment to the Special Unit of the FUP.

Shocking and disturbing messages from the Sky application, which appeared in public during the investigation conducted by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, as well as other disclosed evidence, show that the drug cartel has collaborators in the currently ruling political and police structures, which represents a particular threat to national security.

In addition to the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office, we consider it necessary to form a federal parliamentary commission to establish all facts and actors connected with the donation of uniforms to the Special Unit of the FUP.

The SDA Presidency warns that the imposed Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina compensates for its incompetence by hitting citizens' pockets. The constant rise in prices of basic foodstuffs, the increase in telecommunications services, and the announced increase in electricity prices are not accompanied by social programs that would mitigate the impact on vulnerable categories of the population. The increase in pensions and benefits for veterans is minimal, while at the same time ministers have increased their salaries by more than 400 KM. Along with the increase in ministers' salaries, the debt is also growing enormously, the effects of which are not yet felt. We demand that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ensure regular and extraordinary pension adjustments and a one-time payment to pensioners of at least 100 KM. We also demand the urgent adoption of fiscal laws to enable conditions for a minimum wage of 1,000 KM, which the Government had previously promised and then deceived the citizens.

The SDA Presidency welcomes the agreement reached between BHRT and Federal Television on the continuation of the collection and distribution of subscription fees. By unnecessarily refusing to sign the contract at the beginning of the year, the management of BHRT caused significant financial damage to the public media services and further complicated their functioning. We demand that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina not use 3 million KM from RAK funds for its own PR and party media, but that the total amount be paid to FTV, and that public service be provided with additional support from the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the Day of White Ribbons, which marks the anniversary of the beginning of mass killings and persecution of non-Serbs from Prijedor, the SDA Presidency demands that local authorities finally allow the erection of a monument dedicated to the murdered children of Prijedor.

We condemn the attempt to revise historical facts by marking the so-called "liberation of Prijedor", during which more than 3,000 civilians of non-Serb nationality, including 102 children, were killed, and about 30,000 people were imprisoned in concentration camps.
