GS Presidency wrote to Larson about party takeover affair

(Patria) The Presidency of the Citizens' Alliance sent an Open Letter to Erik Larson, Senior Advisor for Anti-Corruption and Quality Management of the Sarajevo Canton, following the recent events regarding the violent attempt and illegal change of GS leadership.

Dear Mr. Larson,

The Citizens' Alliance (GS) recognizes your critical role and even more appreciates your knowledge and dedication to the fight against corruption - the greatest enemy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Instead of joining this fight against corruption, many actors are fighting exclusively for POWER in Bosnia and Herzegovina. With this letter, we wish to draw your attention to the current affair of the attempted takeover of GS by an illegitimate faction in cooperation with the Sarajevo Canton Court, and this ahead of the 2020 Local Elections.

Namely, within a short period of just a few days, in addition to holding a fictitious GS Congress, without inviting members and without any public announcement, this faction allegedly submitted the decision of the same to the Sarajevo Canton Court. Thus, we emphasize the URGENCY of this letter for you to get involved and actively act in order to restore voters' hope in these complex health and economic circumstances.

Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation in the fight for the rule of law - the essence of the survival of a sovereign state. We continue to fight to finally put an end to the exhaustion of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
