Presidency Adopts Plan for the Structure of the General Corps in the BiH Defense System

(Patria) - The BiH Presidency adopted the Plan for the Structure of the General Corps in the defense system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the adoption of this decision, the conditions have been met for the appointment of new generals of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Presidency has appointed the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, which will be held from September 19 to 26, 2023. The delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be led by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić.

A decision was also made to invite the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, for an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Presidency approved the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria on cooperation in the field of youth and sports, and the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of elections between the Central Election Commission of BiH and the Permanent Electoral Authority of Romania.

Decisions were also made on ratification: the Protocol on the Prohibition of the Use of Asphyxiating, Poisonous or Similar Gases and Bacteriological Methods of Warfare, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the Financing Agreement for the Annual Action Plan in support of the Energy Support Package for the Western Balkans for the benefit of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023 between the European Union represented by the European Commission and Bosnia and Herzegovina represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and the Addendum to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the maintenance and reconstruction of road bridges on the state border.
