DF Presidency: Create an anti-nationalist bloc to stop the country's collapse

The Presidency of the Democratic Front at today's session most sharply condemned the Čović - Dodik agreement on amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, assessing it as a flagrant example of anti-Dayton action and the total collapse of the legal system in the country, the DF announced, writes Patria.

- This has shown that the only strategic political partnership currently operating on the political scene of BiH is along the HDZ - SNSD line, personally embodied in these two party leaders.

Their intention is clear: With this Law, they would undermine the only institution in this country (Constitutional Court of BiH) that could declare the long-announced referendum on the secession of Republika Srpska illegal and unconstitutional!

Acting in coordination, on a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" basis, these two self-proclaimed "protectors of national interests", with the visible helplessness of the "third legal and legitimate representative of the people" (SDA) - are eroding the last common ties that still hold this country together as a common state.

The Democratic Front once again states that it will do everything, both on its own and with a bloc of left-wing and civic-oriented parties, NGOs, and citizens who share our common values regarding the integrity of BiH - to create an anti-nationalist bloc that is evidently and definitively leading us to the collapse of the country and economic ruin.

The DF Presidency was also informed today about the results so far of the Working Group dealing with the preparations for internal party elections and re-registration of membership, with a reaffirmed determination that, along with personnel refreshment at all levels of the party organization, we will restore the authority and reputation of the party to every citizen of this country in accordance with our programmatic aspirations. We will persevere on that path, knowing that the party will only emerge stronger from this process.

The Presidency adopted the Report on the work of the DF Negotiation Team, with the conclusion that, regardless of individual cases of "defections" and "sold party authority" by individuals, we have played this post-election "game" to the end in a fair and correct manner, openly and cooperatively with other left-wing and civic parties.

Finally, the DF Presidency congratulated Miners' Day to all miners and wished the citizens of BiH happy Christmas and New Year holidays.
