Presidency gives consent: Ireland to open embassy in BiH

(Patria) - The Presidency of BiH gave consent at today's 13th regular session for the opening of the Irish Embassy in BiH.

The Presidency of BiH adopted the Report on the implementation of the Agreement on Sub-Regional Arms Control, Annex 1B, Article IV of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH and the work of the Sub-Regional Consultative Commission in 2023.

The Presidency of BiH took note of the Report on the work of the Ministry of Defence of BiH for 2023.

The Presidency of BiH adopted decisions on accepting:

- The Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme "Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina" for the period 2021-2027 between the Republic of Serbia, represented by the Ministry of European Integration, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH;

- The Financing Agreement for the Interreg IV-B IPA Programme for the Danube Region for the period 2021-2027 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and Hungary, represented by the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Hungary;

- The International Agreement between the European Union, on the one hand, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the other hand, on the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Union Programme - Digital Europe (2021-2027);

- The Contract for Amendments and Supplements No. 1 to the Grant Agreement of 26 October 2020 regarding the investment grant from the Western Balkans Joint Fund for the "Gradačac Water Supply Project", between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (45810).

The Presidency of BiH adopted the Decision on initiating the procedure for conducting negotiations for concluding the Agreement on cooperation in the joint implementation of the project of reconstruction and modernization of the railway line Ruma – Šabac – Loznica (Republic of Serbia) – Zvornik – Tuzla – Doboj (Bosnia and Herzegovina) between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The Presidency of BiH adopted the Decision on approving the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation between the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The Presidency of BiH accepted the patronage of the Artificial Intelligence Summit (AI Summit), which, organized by the Blum Institute, will be held from 7 to 8 August 2024 in Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar.
