BiH Presidency on Official Visit to the Holy See

(Patria) - Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be on an official visit to the Holy See on March 9, 2026. During the visit, the members of the Presidency will have the opportunity to meet with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, and discuss issues of importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina and international relations.

In addition to meeting with the Pope, a meeting with Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations of the Secretariat of State of the Holy See, is also planned. The discussions will cover topics of dialogue, international cooperation, and issues concerning religious freedom and the status of religious communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This official visit represents a continuation of the diplomatic activities of the BiH Presidency and the strengthening of bilateral relations with one of the most important international institutions.
