BiH Presidency discusses unlawful actions of Republika Srpska authorities regarding German Minister Lührmann

(Patria) - The BiH Presidency held its 23rd regular session in Sarajevo today.

At the request of BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović, the agenda item "Unlawful actions of the authorities of the Republika Srpska entity regarding the visit of the German Minister for Europe and Climate Anne Lührmann to Bosnia and Herzegovina" was discussed.

During today's second vote, BiH Presidency members Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović voted for the proposed conclusions, while Chairperson Željka Cvijanović voted against.

The invitation from the President of the Paris Peace Forum, Ángel Gurría, to the members of the BiH Presidency to participate in the eighth edition of the Paris Peace Forum, to be held at the Palais de Chaillot from October 29 to 30, was accepted.

The BiH Presidency took note of the Information on resolving the status of the local training ground and shooting range "Glamoč", Glamoč municipality.

The BiH Presidency made decisions on accepting and appointing signatories for:

• Loan Agreement (Construction and Equipment of Additional Student Accommodation Facility at the Public Institution Student Center "Boriša Starović", Foča) between BiH and the Saudi Fund for Development;

• Loan Agreement (Science and Technology Park Construction Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Saudi Fund for Development;

• Note Verbale on Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany - continuation of development cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany;

• Grant Agreement (GrCF: Sarajevo Water Supply Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, relating to an investment grant from the European Union program, represented by the European Commission (financed from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, established by Regulation 231/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 11, 2014 (IPA II);

• Loan Agreement (GrCF2 W2 E2-Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in the Tuzla Canton) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

• Grant Agreement (Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings in the Tuzla Canton - GrCF2 W2 E2) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, relating to an investment grant from the European Joint Fund for the Western Balkans;

• Loan Agreement (Second Development Policy Loan for Health Sector) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

• Framework Financial Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council of Europe Development Bank for the INTEGRA Cultural and Sports Center in Mostar with GSIF Investment Grant LD 2206 (2024) 2837-GSIF-IG-BA (2024);

• Amendment No. 3 to the Financing Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank on May 19, 2014, in Sarajevo and June 5, 2014, in Luxembourg, with subsequent periodic amendments ("Financing Agreement") - Electricity Distribution in BiH/C, (FI 82.304 - SERAPIS 2010-0562);

• Financing Agreement for the Interreg Program (Interreg VI-C) Interreg Europe for the period 2021-2027 between the European Union represented by the European Commission and Bosnia and Herzegovina represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH and France represented by the French region of Hauts-de-France;

• Loan Agreement (Sustainable, Integrated and Safe Road Infrastructure Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

• Financing Agreement for the Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina Cross-border Cooperation Programme for the period 2021-2027 between the European Union represented by the European Commission and Bosnia and Herzegovina represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Serbia represented by the Ministry of European Integration;

• Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses.

The BiH Presidency took note of the Information on the migration situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024.

The BiH Presidency adopted the Decision on granting approval for the conclusion and appointment of signatories for:

• Memorandum of Understanding between the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) and the Investment Development Agency of Albania (AIDA);

• Protocol on Bilateral Cooperation between the Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Employment Service of the Republic of North Macedonia;

• Protocol on Bilateral Cooperation between the Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Labor of the Arab Republic of Egypt;

• Memorandum of Understanding between the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors.
