BiH Presidency without consensus on Horizon Europe, awaiting Dodik

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, without the presence of Serbian member Milorad Dodik, held an emergency session on the Proposal for a decision to accept the International Agreement between the EU and BiH on BiH's participation in the EU program "Horizon Europe - Framework Program for Research and Innovation".

The session was called due to the urgency of signing the agreement by the Chair of the Presidency, Željko Komšić, and was also attended by Šefik Džaferović, as announced by the Presidency.

Komšić and Džaferović voted in favor, but without the vote of the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, consensus on accepting the agreement was not reached.

- In accordance with Article 42 of the Rules of Procedure of the BiH Presidency, due to the lack of consensus, the Chair of the BiH Presidency will include this item on the agenda of the next session of the BiH Presidency as a mandatory item, which is scheduled for Monday, December 6 at 2:00 PM - the institution announced.

This is a decision adopted at the last session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
