VSTV President Milan Tegeltija disrespects the Constitutional Court of BiH, attended the celebration of RS Day

President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH Milan Tegeltija does not respect the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which he demonstrated today when he appeared in Banja Luka at the ceremony marking the Day of Republika Srpska, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Tegeltija's disrespect for the Decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH is a first-class scandal, after which he should resign or be removed from this position. In Banja Luka, as well as in other cities in RS, January 9 or RS Day is being celebrated today, even though the Constitutional Court of BiH decided several weeks ago that the celebration of RS Day, in the manner carried out by the authorities in this part of the country, violates the Constitution of BiH.

The other two constituent peoples in BiH, Bosniaks and Croats, oppose the celebration of January 9, because it is the date in 1992 when the systematic expulsion, looting, imprisonment in camps, and killing of Bosniaks and Croats from the territory of BiH now designated as Republika Srpska began.

Although young, Tegeltija's career in the judicial institutions of BiH has been marked by scandals from the very beginning. He came to the head of the VSTV burdened by a criminal complaint, because as president of the Basic Court in Banja Luka he participated in what appears to be the illegal seizure of property of businessman Dževad Haznadar. The Prosecutor's Office of BiH has been investigating this case for several years. The final outcome has not yet been reached thanks to the strong ties between Tegeltija and the President of RS, Milorad Dodik.

Even Tegeltija's arrival at the head of the VSTV a year ago was accompanied by a scandal. Due to the criminal complaint filed against him by businessman Haznadar, Tegeltija could not even be elected as the chairman of the VSTV, so the Chief Disciplinary Prosecutor of the VSTV, Alben Murtezić, falsified documents in which he concealed the complaint against Tegeltija. The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is still investigating this case as well, writes Patria.
