VSTV President Tegeltija awaits Dodik's order to block work

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Milan Tegeltija, president of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC), told reporters after the HJPC session that there is still no official request from the RS following the announcement by Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD, about a blockade of state institutions by representatives of the Serbian people.

Tegeltija said that if he receives any request, he and other HJPC members from the RS will implement them.

He explained that he is a representative from the RS in the HJPC and, as such, a member of the RS Sub-Council within the HJPC, which was established by the agreement on the transfer of competencies between the entities.

"Given all this, as a representative of the RS, I also have obligations towards the Republika Srpska, which I and other members from the RS represent in the HJPC, which is legally conceived as a representative body," Tegeltija said.

He made these comments regarding the decision from the RS that officials from the Serbian people in the RS will not participate in decision-making in the work of BiH institutions until foreign judges are removed from the Constitutional Court of BiH.
