Sudan's President: CIA and Mossad are behind Islamic State

Sudan's President claims that the American CIA and Israeli intelligence agency Mossad are behind Islamic militant groups, ISIL and Boko Haram.

Omar al-Bashir stated this in an interview for Euronews, after the Islamic State published a video of the execution of 21 captured Egyptian Christians, to which Egypt responded by bombing Islamists in Libya.

- I believe that the CIA and Mossad are behind this, because no Muslim would do something like that - said the Sudanese president.

He also believes that air strikes against Islamists are counterproductive because they only incite greater violence. He said that in Sudan, they arrested young people who were drawn to jihadism and successfully educated them and dissuaded them from radical ideas, writes The Independent.
