President of Pakistan decorated Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović

(Patria) - On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President of Pakistan H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi decorated the Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazović with the state order Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam (Star of Excellence in Leadership).

The explanation states that Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović, among other things, also had a proactive role in providing assistance to the victims of the floods that hit Pakistan in 2022.

On this occasion, Reis-ul-ulema Kavazović stated that he is honored by the recognition, which once again proves the strong ties between the two countries and two brotherly nations.

He also said that he considers this recognition, above all, a recognition of the entire Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its members, who have so many times shown their readiness to show solidarity with those in need anywhere in the world, and especially with a brotherly nation like the Pakistani one, whose help during the aggression against our country we will not forget.

The Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam award and order is one of the highest civilian honors awarded for special merits and contributions to the state of Pakistan.

The Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the contributions of its members, provided organized assistance to the people of Pakistan after the earthquakes and floods in 2022.
