President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides arrives in BiH, meeting with BiH Presidency members

(Patria) - The President of Cyprus is arriving in BiH, and the meeting at the BiH Presidency will be held on May 15.

The visit program includes a formal welcome ceremony with military honors and a meeting of the BiH Presidency members with the President of the Republic of Cyprus.

Yesterday, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, visited the BiH Presidency, expressing concern over the actions of the authorities of the BiH entity RS, and separatist and anti-Dayton policies.

Costa stated that the European Union is committed to the European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and added that he conveyed to the BiH Presidency members that their role is crucial in preserving peace.

"What is important is to de-escalate tensions, to ensure the joint work of political leaders who will work on accelerating the European path," said the President of the EU Council.
