(Patria) - Member of the Our Party in the BiH Parliament, Predrag Kojović, claims that a taxi driver beat him today in Sarajevo.
Kojović shared the entire incident with his followers on social media.
"Today I was waiting for a taxi in front of SCC. I noticed an elderly woman with two little girls also waiting, Arab tourists.
They were standing with their hands up, but taxi drivers (at least ten empty ones) were not stopping.
I raised my hand, and a taxi immediately stopped for me. I told the driver - this family was waiting before me and invited them to get in.
The taxi driver started yelling: 'I won't drive them.' He didn't say why, just kept repeating 'I won't drive them.'
I looked to see if he had a license on the windshield - he didn't. I asked for his name and surname. At that moment, he started hitting me, cursing, and pushing me out of the car.
He got out and came to my side, the passenger side. He pulled my jacket, kicked me.
Čekam danas taxi ispred SCC-a. Primijetim da starija žena s dvije djevojčice takođe čekaju, arapski turisti. One stoje s podignutom rukom ali taksisti (najmanje deset praznih) ne staju. Podignem ruku, taksi mi odmah stade.

I'm going to the police. They very kindly took down all the details and went to look for him.
A racist who physically attacked me is providing public taxi services in Sarajevo.
PS: Other taxi drivers also refused to stop for them.
This is the face of Sarajevo that such taxi drivers show to the world.
We must, together, fight against bad people," Kojović wrote.
